Plain-language terms for using Canadian Software List and buying a paid listing.

Listings

Free listings are reviewed by hand, usually within about 4 weeks. We accept live software from companies founded or headquartered in Canada, and we may decline or remove listings that are spam, unfinished, unlawful or misleading. Paying doesn't change these rules.

Paid listings

• Fast-track (C$19, one-time): we review your listing within 3 business days of receiving your details, and add a "Verified by owner" badge when it's published.
• Featured (C$49, one-time, for 30 days): fast-track review, then a clearly labelled "Featured" spot at the top of your category and on the home page for 30 days from publishing. It doesn't renew automatically.

Prices are in Canadian dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your card statement may show a short descriptor ending in CDNSOFTLST.

Refunds

If we don't publish your listing within 5 business days of receiving your details, or if we decline it, we refund you in full. You can also ask for a full refund any time before your listing is published. To ask, email hello@sellmybusinessdirect.com with the email you paid with.

Your content

You confirm you're allowed to submit the product and that what you send us is accurate. We may edit listings for length and clarity. You can ask for corrections or removal at any time.

No endorsement

Listings are information, not endorsements. Check details with each company directly.
